AI-based HR Systems: An Overview and Implications for HR Practice
BY: Ruzly Ismail Introduction: The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) has led to the development of AI-based HR systems that can automate various aspects of human resource management. This paper provides an overview of AI-based HR systems, including their applications in recruitment, performance management, training and development, and employee engagement. We also discuss the potential benefits and challenges of using AI-based HR systems, as well as the ethical considerations that need to be taken into account. Based on my analysis, I argue that AI-based HR systems can help HR professionals save time, reduce bias, and make more informed decisions. However, they also raise concerns about privacy, transparency, and fairness that need to be addressed through appropriate regulations and policies.
